This is my Twilight movie review. *SPOILERS* Twilight made 35.7 million on the first day. Summit has announced that they are in the making of New Moon.
Saw the movie yesterday. And this morning. The movie I've waited what feels like forever for. Spent the entire day procrastinating during class... because I was leaving for the movies right after school.
But when we left for the movies, finally, I was shaking.
There is a horror trailer RIGHT before the movie. I have never seen a horror movie trailer that has scared the sh*t out of me so much. I was pumped to see Twilight, but then I was crying so hard during the long horror trailer that I couldn't see the screen! I'd put up a link for you to see it, but I don't even know what it's called. BE WARNED IF YOU ARE GOING TO SEE THE MOVIE.
They did what I expected them to do. Start with a voiceover of Bella going... "I'd never given much thought to how I would die..." >< It was alright. Kristen and her monotone voice.
The scene transition was iffy. One thing would happen, and then all the sudden, JACOB BLACK? LOLZ. I was scowling every time he came on screen...
Liked when Jessica was talking and was introducing the Cullens as they walked in. Especially liked when she was talking about Alice & Jasper... "And theres Alice... she's... weird. She's with Jasper- the one who looks like hes in pain." And it shows Jasper all stiff LOL cracked up at that.
The theater cheered when Edward came on. Ain't gonna lie. XD
When Bella first walked into the room in Biology class to see Edward sitting at the table, and he smelled her from like across the room, his reaction was one of the funniest parts of the movie. He liked jumped and held his nose. LOLOLOL silly Rob.
GOLDEN ONION? What... the fuck? I want one.
Mike, Tyler, and Eric... those horny bastards. LOL.
When Bella goes to Port Angeles, and gets like ... pushed around by the guys in the dark alley... or wherever it was in the movie... (looked like a ... brothel (ancient terms haha).) Edward saves her, drives away, and goes...
"I SHOULD GO BACK THERE AND RIP THEIR HEADS OFF!"
... Okay. That line is horrible. It's like a toddler 'splaining he's gonna beat up someone.
I like when he said "distract me, please!!" in his angry voice and shes like... "um... put on your seatbelt!"
And he goes... "My- MY SEAT-" -cacklecackle- "MY SEATBELT?! Put on YOUR seatbelt!" And he just cracks up LOL.
I loved when Edward took her to meet his family. Jumping through the trees was okay.
The meadow scene... was there a meadow scene? LOL. The meadow wasn't a meadow, but I guess that's alright. They said the "herion" and "lion/lamb" lines which was cool.
Was it just me, or did they edit out Rob's hair during the sparkle scenes? BTW... the sparkling looked like he was sweating. XD
KISS SCENE HAD THE SLOWEST KISS I HAVE EVER SEEN. HOLY. CRAP. LOL. Slow kisses are always the best.
The baseball scene... was my absolute favorite scene. I liked how they used the MUSE song during it. I liked when Bella said "Out!" for Rosalie. And Rosalie just glared. Emmett was like "C'mon babe, it's just a game!"
The scene where Bella has to leave Forks and sees Mike, Jessica... Eric and Angela... and Tyler... leave that restaurant... and when she yells at her dad to convince him she doesn't want to stay in Forks... it was sad. Teary, even. How she yelled the same thing her mother had said before she left him.
Fighting scene at the end was better than I expected. Edward took a chunk out of James' neck O.O Also, the call James had with Bella could've been better.
Prom scene was short, but liked how he kissed her neck instead of biting it. Cool that Victoria was there... hehe.
Did anyone hear Rob's two songs in the movie? "Never Think" in the restaurant, and "Let Me Sign" as he was sucking out the venom.
WARNING: It's 3AM and I'm going to rant. A lot. ALSO: James does not approve. [see picture] [ growls ] I can't take it anymore. I can't live with telling myself that Breaking Dawn was a good book. You know why? Cuz it wasn't. It really, really wasn't. I have seen a lot of fanfiction since the ending of Eclipse allll the way up to the release of Breaking Dawn, and let me tell you... there is a hell of a lot of fanfiction that blows Breaking Dawn right out of the water.
Twilight. New Moon. Eclipse. Breaking Dawn.
$10 says I can write a Breaking Dawn that you will enjoy more.
The only good part of Breaking Dawn was the beginning, when Bella was still human & not OOC. The honeymoon was good, although I felt the book needed better love scenes. Whoa there, calm down. Before you start thinking of how much of a pervert I am, think about it. We've waited for... how long? Yeah. And SMeyer hardly drops an innuendo or hint that they had sex. For God's sake I had no idea that they did until they were laying in bed the next day naked covered in feathers.
That's how bad it was.
I did not like how Bella got pregnant. Edward and his death-defying sperm -sighz- Y'know, he's been dead for over 90 years. All fluids are supposed to be venom. Meyer said so herself. Do not lie to yourself and think that this book does not contradict itself a million times over and over.
No matter what you say, do not deny it. Bella was OOC [out of character] for the second and third book in Breaking Dawn. Don't let your love for Twilight cause you to think otherwise. She didn't want to get married- she worried about it in both New Moon & Eclipse. Now since she gets all pregnant in BD, I'm waiting for her to freak out because she's "too young" and not ready. Personally, I'm waiting for her to have a breakdown... because she breaks down a lot. But... all the sudden, in her spur-of-the-moment, 5 second decision:
SHE WANTS THE BABY. SHE WANTS THE BABY.
What the fuck-? Edward was the only one thinking straight. He wanted to get that thing out of her. It was killing her, and that was his only concern. He could care less about the baby. He wanted her. He wanted Bella.
Nothing. No one else mattered to him. Not even the child.
But OOC Bella over there ran straight to Rosalie. Rosalie. The bitch. I even prefered Tanya over her. And that's very very bad.
The storyline was centered on the pregnancy of Bella, and that sucked. Big time. The first 3 books were about Jacob & Edward fighting for Bella's love. And the fourth one should have been the finale for that. Jacob should have imprinted on Leah or something... cuz it seemed she did like him... and their personalities matched. Also, Edward and Bella should have had more scenes. Edward should not have been his angsty, New Moon self during Breaking Dawn... and Bella should have been in character and not hurting poor Edward. She always described how she loved Edward more than anything and would never hurt him, so why did she hurt him? Was she BLIND or something? She was hurting herself which was KILLING him.
I feel that Meyer did not portray Edward and Bella's emotions clearly after Bella became a vampire. They acted... God, I don't even have a word for it. It seemed their passion died or something. Sure, they were screwing each other everywhere... which was kind of weird... but they just weren't themselves. Thus how I said in an earlier post that Edward had turned into a horndog. Poor thing :/
I don't really have a problem with Renesmee's name. I do have a problem with "Nessie" as her nickname, though. The spawn-of-satan/demon child should not be compared to the Lochness Monster as well. I have a feeling she's gonna be a mute. When she wants to talk to someone, she just kind of slaps their face and BAM, "Ohhh I get it..."
I am confused at the fact that Jacob and Bella's relationship - which was once so very, very strong - diminished in about an hour of the book. She loved Jacob Black, even though she was marrying Edward. She still needed Jacob in her life- as her best friend- even after the marriage. And now, all of the sudden in BD, Jacob and Bella practically turn their backs on one another... and Jacob goes pedophile on newborn mutant vampire baby: Renesmee.
Also, someone needed to die. Anyone. There was no climax in this book. As far as I know, the Volturi came to the Cullens not for a battle... but for a reunion?!... well, that's what it felt like.
Meyer will be losing a lot of fans and that is without a doubt. I feel as if a haze has been lifted off of me. A haze I forced myself in. I wanted this book to be great and now I have the dignity enough to say that it wasn't. That book... kinda sucked. I'm a huge Twilight fan, and that's coming from the heart. I am neutral. I like it and I don't. Perhaps if I read the book over a couple of times, I will be more content.
Jacob is cool with me now. Just because he isn't all over Bella anymore. Just Bella's daughter.
The only part of the book I truly liked was the ending. It illicted the most feelings out of me. I was sad the series was over, happy that Bella and Edward were together, and intrigued that Bella could let Edward read her thoughts.
I'll tell you one thing...

*sighs* I'm glad I got all this stuff of my chest. I kind of feel bad that I don't like BD. Maybe I should read it again. Maybe my expectations were too high.
Maybe I'd thought that the book would actually make sense.

I finished Breaking Dawn. I cried when I finished it. Everything that I'd hoped that would happen after I finished Eclipse had happened. Also, some things I did not expect happened.
The ending was perfect.
And I love the fact that Edward was a total horndog the entire book. xD

I wanted to have Breaking Dawn last for awhile... and that was terribly difficult. Seriously. I finished it last night, deciding since last weekend was officially named "Vampire Weekend", there was no better time to finish the book. I think I may be a little OCD. No, not obsessive Cullen disorder :/ Obsessive compulsive disorder. LOL.

So I wrote a poem... of course, Twilight releated. If you haven't read Twilight, you might understand... you might not. For those of you that have read it, this poem takes place on the first day that Edward visited Bella when she was sleeping [before she knew he was there]. So it's fairly early on in the series. Also, it's from Edward's point of view. I personally dislike this poem, but I'm posting it for a friend who wanted to read it...
The Lion & The Lamb

I finally started sophmore summer reading. I have to read The Odyssey. It's actually not as bad as I thought. I just have to take it very slowly & the names are kind of hard to remember (and pronounce!) I have to keep a journal-like... account... as I read it. I'm kind of thankful. I read the chapter once or twice, get an idea of what's going on, then go on SparkNotes to see if I had the right idea. If I did, then I'll go back to the book and take notes. I don't copy from SparkNotes. You kidding? So many kids do, it'll be death to me in a minute. Teachers are getting smarter! LOL!
Well, dear, dear Bella. You should know by now that it's option 3. The poor guy got down on his knee and proposed to you.
"Isabella Swan?" he looked up at me through his impossibly long lashes, his golden eyes soft but, somehow, still scorching. "I promise to love you forever -- every single day of forever. Will you marry me?"
For a second there, I thought she'd say no. I was prepared to throw Eclipse out the window (and then, without a a doubt, I'd run to get it... but still...). 13 days, ladies (and one or two gentlemen...) By the way, I wonder what Bella is doing, all covered in feathers *shakes head*. I have two guesses. One is that it has something to do with Bella asking Alice about her wedding dress... or two... well... after the wedding... *cough* consummation *cough* Edward and his sneaky ways...

So, I've had lots of adventures on RuneScape. Some I don't want to mention, and some that I will. I met a suicidal kid, (don't know anything about him besides the fact he was a boy) he told me some sob story that sounded like a chainletter that was being sent around myspace so I didn't really buy it. Long story short, I blocked him.
I met another person while on an island by myself (or so I thought). Made a comment about his username that include the words Devil May Cry (which is a game I like) Nero <3 AND long story short the level 96 guy became my friend. One of my rele best friends on there, hes really funny & has some fantasies (that he so kindly shared with me). He advised me that he didn't care if I was a stalker (cuz there ARE stalkers on RS) and that it would be cool if he had a stalker (preferably a female one). *enter fantasy 1*
And then comes Kelru. Kelru is like so awesome I <3 him. LOLZ. I met him while with a friend in some pasture. He was by me & Chris while we were talking and after Chris logged off, Kelru and I started to talk...and talk...and talk... till like 11:30 at night. He doesn't come on much anymores, hes a senior in HS and joining the military once he gets out. Ima miss him a lot :(
I'm going to go log onto RuneScape now and see if he's online.

It was not hard to convince myself that I didn't have time to search for another way- I wanted to jump from the top. That was the image that had lingered in my head. I wanted the long fall that would feel like flying.
I knew that this was the stupidest, most reckless thing I had done yet. The thought made me smile. The pain was already easing, as if my body knew that Edward's voice was just seconds away...
The ocean sounded very far away, somehow farther than before, when I was on the path in the trees. I grimaced when I thought of the probable temperature of the water.
But I wasn't going to let that stop me.
The wind blew stronger now, whipping the rain into eddies around me.
I stepped out to the edge, keeping my eyes on the empty space in front of me. My toes felt ahead blindly, caressing the edge of the rock when they encountered it. I drew in a deep breath and held it... waiting.
"Bella."
I smiled and exhaled.
Yes? I didn't answer out loud, for fear that the sound of my voice would shatter the beautiful illusion. He sounded so real, so close. It was only when he was disappearing like this that I could hear the true memory of his voice- the velvet texture and the musical intonation that made up the most perfect of all voices.
"Don't do this," he pleaded.
You wanted me to be human, I reminded him. Well, watch me.
"Please. For me."
But you won't stay with me any other way.
"Please." It was just a whisper in the blowing rain that tossed my hair and drenched my clothes- making me as wet as if this were my second jump of the day.
I rolled up onto the balls of my feet.
"NO, Bella!" He was angry now, and the anger was so lovely.
I smiled and raised my arms straight out, as if I were going to dive, lifting my face into the rain. But it was too ingrained from years of swimming at the public pool- feet first, first time. I leaned foward, crouching to get more spring...
And I flung myself off the cliff.

This is my Twilight movie review. *SPOILERS*
"I SHOULD GO BACK THERE AND RIP THEIR HEADS OFF!"
And Rosalie just glared. Emmett was like "C'mon babe, it's just a game!"
WARNING: It's 3AM and I'm going to rant. A lot. 
The only good part of Breaking Dawn was the beginning, when Bella was still human & not OOC. The honeymoon was good, although I felt the book needed better love scenes. Whoa there, calm down. Before you start thinking of how much of a pervert I am, think about it. We've waited for... how long? Yeah. And SMeyer hardly drops an innuendo or hint that they had sex. For God's sake I had no idea that they did until they were laying in bed the next day naked 
No matter what you say, do not deny it. Bella was OOC [out of character] for the second and third book in Breaking Dawn. Don't let your love for Twilight cause you to think otherwise. She didn't want to get married- she worried about it in both New Moon & Eclipse. Now since she gets all pregnant in BD, I'm waiting for her to freak out because she's "too young" and not ready. Personally, I'm waiting for her to have a breakdown... because she breaks down a lot. But... all the sudden, in her spur-of-the-moment, 5 second decision:
The storyline was centered on the pregnancy of Bella, and that sucked. Big time. The first 3 books were about Jacob & Edward fighting for Bella's love. And the fourth one should have been the finale for that. Jacob should have imprinted on Leah or something... cuz it seemed she did like him... and their personalities matched. Also, Edward and Bella should have had more scenes. Edward should not have been his angsty, New Moon self during Breaking Dawn... and Bella should have been in character and not hurting poor Edward. She always described how she loved Edward more than anything and would never hurt him, so why did she hurt him? Was she BLIND or something? She was hurting herself which was KILLING him.
I don't really have a problem with Renesmee's name. I do have a problem with "Nessie" as her nickname, though. The spawn-of-satan/demon child should not be compared to the Lochness Monster as well. I have a feeling she's gonna be a mute. When she wants to talk to someone, she just kind of slaps their face and BAM, "Ohhh I get it..."
Meyer will be losing a lot of fans and that is without a doubt. I feel as if a haze has been lifted off of me. A haze I forced myself in. I wanted this book to be great and now I have the dignity enough to say that it wasn't. That book... kinda sucked. I'm a huge Twilight fan, and that's coming from the heart. I am neutral. I like it and I don't. Perhaps if I read the book over a couple of times, I will be more content.

I finished Breaking Dawn. I cried when I finished it. Everything that I'd hoped that would happen after I finished Eclipse had happened. Also, some things I did not expect happened.
I wanted to have Breaking Dawn last for awhile... and that was terribly difficult. Seriously. I finished it last night, deciding since last weekend was officially named "Vampire Weekend", there was no better time to finish the book. I think I may be a little OCD. No, not obsessive Cullen disorder :/ Obsessive compulsive disorder. LOL.

[10] day countdown to Breaking Dawn has began. The Twilight Community is practically exploding with excitement. How do I know? I feel it. Oh boy do I feel it. 
Happy Twilight Tuesday everybody. We had a fairly nice quote today... *smiles* Alice is doing a lot for the wedding, huh? She's enjoying every second of it, too.
Oh, and forgive the bad quality. Quizilla has a way of making every piece of literature published there to look like sh*t.

I have to keep a journal-like... account... as I read it. I'm kind of thankful. I read the chapter once or twice, get an idea of what's going on, then go on SparkNotes to see if I had the right idea. If I did, then I'll go back to the book and take notes. I don't copy from SparkNotes. You kidding? So many kids do, it'll be death to me in a minute. Teachers are getting smarter! LOL!
